This Week's PSOne Classics Are What You've Been Waiting For
Can we say Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI on the same day?!
09.18.11 - 8:53 PM

If you weren't planning to busy yourself with the localization of Persona 2: Innocent Sin on the PSP this week, how about a couple of classics? The next (North American) PSN releases will include not one but two PSOne Classics that a lot of RPG fans have been waiting for - Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.

Both SNES titles were later for the PSOne in the early 2000s - Final Fantasy VI with extra CG scenes and Chrono Trigger with anime cutscenes - and both, well, with extra loading times. Both were also leaked for PSN releases via ESRB a couple of months ago, and some fans I'm sure had been anxiously waiting ever since.

The PSN update should go live this Tuesday as always, September 20th. Pricing wasn't announced for either, but Square Enix PSone Classics typically go for $5.99 - $9.99 US.
