A Look At The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword's Upgrade System
Plus some random tidbits and packaging. 09.14.11 - 3:41 AM Nintendo may not be showing off The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword at Tokyo Game Show (or anything actually, but that's pretty standard), but they did so at their recent press conference - and sent out another trailer, too. This one details how you upgrade your items. By collecting loot and treasure, you can use some of these items you found to upgrade things like your shield. Kind of like this. Skyward Sword is said to be the biggest Zelda title ever. It's been in development for over five years with about 100 staff members working on the game. The final product will take between 50 and 100 hours to complete in a single playthrough. Beat the game and you'll get a 'Boss Rush' mode where you can relive all those epic boss fights. If it's like any other Zelda game, they'll be pretty epic. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword releases on November 20th. The controller bundle costs $69.99 US, while the standalone game is just $49.99. Both versions come with a soundtrack CD with orchestral arrangements of series music, to be performed in concert later this year.
