Part three in the series of Dark Souls prologue videos pretty much discusses more backstory: the dragons and their eventual fate. Parts one and two can both be found here if you missed them last week. After this third video below, Namco Bandai apparently has more of the prologue to show (eventually).

That October 7th date is for Europe. Dark Souls (PS3, Xbox 360) releases in North America on October 4th.
