Today's update to the official European YouTube channel for Xenoblade Chronicles is a 9-minute long exposé on gem crafting. By extracting ether crystals from mining points and refining them into elemental gems, players can customize weapons and armor with a variety of beneficial attributes. The affinity between characters affects the crafting process, so players must choose their partners carefully to achieve optimal results. Xenoblade Chronicles will be released in Europe this Friday, August 19th. Nintendo of America continues to break hearts everywhere by not considering a North American release of the game.
