Solatorobo: Red The Hunter is the Nintendo DS spiritual sequel to Tail Concerto. Developed by CyberConnect2 and released in Japan last year, XSEED Games is bringing the title out West in less than two months. Europe saw a release at the beginning of this month already.
The action RPG follows the main protagonist, Red, and his 'sister-like' companion, Chocolat as they start out in the skies far above the Shepherd Republic. With their Robos (mechs), they have been hired to set out to infiltrate an airship to find some documents. He stumbles upon a lot more than just some files though - he also finds an ancient artifact, but before he could do anything else, some massive beast knocks the airship out of the sky. Eventually Red would meet Elh, whom he'd seen on the airship - although Elh was passed out at the time. Even when he returns to the town of Airedale looking for his payment, Red gets caught up in a lot more than he originally bargained for.
