07.13.11 - 1:53 AM

Bethesda's Fallout: New Vegas will soon see at least two more pieces of downloadable content, one of which is out next week. Old World Blues takes players to the Big MT - or rather, the Big Empty - a giant crater which plays host to an extensive research facility. Here, you need to save the facility's inhabitants, a group of scientists known as the Think Tank, from their own experiments which have gone awry. You get to fight, among other things, robotic scorpions and a brain. Look on the bright side - you'll also stumble across several new weapons, perks and armour in the Big Empty.

Sound like your cup of tea? Here's a trailer:

You'll find a few more screenshots, also from Old World Blues, in the gallery below. Old World Blues is due out for PS3, PC and Xbox 360 on July 19th (next Tuesday) for 800 Microsoft Points/$9.99 US. The follow-up DLC, Lonesome Road, has yet to receive a new date.
