And here are the many new releases on the Japanese network.

Even though North America, Europe and some other areas saw restoration of the PlayStation Network back in very early June, as well as other parts of Asia later on in the month, Japan didn't regain their access until yesterday. Some outlets suggest that Sony had to meet security-related demands made by the Japanese government and credit card companies.
In any case, Japan had no PSN service for over two months until today, and to make up for lost time there's a whole lot of new content now available in both the Game Archives and on the store in general. If you have a Japanese PSN account, for 800 yen ($9.88 US) each you can grab Chrono Cross and Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. Both 4th Super Robot Wars S and New Super Robot Wars are 1000 yen (12.35 US) each, and Breath of Fire IV is a mere 600 yen ($7.41 US).
You'll also find download versions of PSP games that saw retail release during the downtime, including Atlus' Gloria Union for 4980 yen ($61.52 US) and Gungnir for 5229 yen ($64.59 US), and Imageepoch's Final Promise Story for 5600 yen ($69.18 US). Finally, there will be previously promised DLC, such as the some of the content announced for Disgaea 4 - not all of it, however, as some won't be released until August and October.
