Warhammer Online: Age Of Reckoning, Dark Age Of Camelot Patches Live
BioWare Mythic has also been busy.
07.01.11 - 3:03 AM

BioWare Mythic announced that two of its titles had patches go live yesterday: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR) and Dark Age of Camelot.

WAR 1.4.3 is more significant as it includes the two-week long Sigmartide event which celebrates the Empire's first emperor and God, Sigmar. Players of Order and Destruction both have their own goals: for the Order to nurture their relationships with the dwarfs, and for Destruction to, well, make fun of them (and to cause general chaos and havoc). The patch adds temporary RVR accessory sets, which can be bought in the capital cities and last only nine days. Players can also change their name and find a new scenario lineup (based on player feedback), which includes some previous scenarios. More details on patch 1.4.3 can be found here.

Dark Age of Camelot's patch is 1.109b. Here, Mythic have rebalanced some ML10 encounter weapons, master levels no longer require Master Level experience, and players can now transfer characters from the Glamorgan to the Ywain cluster. The Wilton and Molvik battlegrounds saw some repeatable player and monster kill tasks added, which promise lots of EXP and Aurulite. 1.109b contains several other changes as well as bug fixes, and you can find the complete patch notes here.
