Dragon Quest Collection Gets A Japanese Date
And a whole lot of extras. 06.29.11 - 1:11 PM For the series' 25th anniversary, Square Enix is putting together a Dragon Quest Collection for the Nintendo Wii. The collection includes both the Famicom and Super Famicom versions of the first three Dragon Quest games. Though the games' content remains the exact same, the collection does include a bunch of bonus goodies. The most interesting bonus will be a video clip of Dragon Quest X, a game we haven't seen a single aspect of quite yet. The DQX video will be on the main disc, but other bonuses include a reprint of classic guides for Dragon Quest I, II and III, a recreation of a Dragon Quest medal, an artwork collection (included on the main disc), and a new opening anime for all three games, created by Kamikaze Douga who was also responsible for Dragon Quest IX's animation. The Dragon Quest Collection for Wii will be released in Japan on September 15th for 4440 yen ($54.91 US). |
