Nippon Ichi was a tad busy today, with two pretty noteworthy announcements earlier. The bigger of the two is yet another Playstation Portable port of a PS2 title: Phantom Kingdom - which was better known as Makai Kingdom here in North America. The PSP version will include a new scenario called 'Papa Is The Strongest Demon King' featuring a new character, a red-pigtailed girl. There will be other new features and characters as well.

Phantom Kingdom for PSP goes on sale on September 22nd in Japan. There will be three editions: a digital download for 4000 yen ($49.36 US), a regular retail edition for 5040 yen ($62.20 US) and a limited edition, which includes an artbook and original soundtrack, for 7140 yen ($88.12 US).

Disgaea 4, meanwhile, will be seeing two downloadable scenarios. The first, focused on Varbatose, will be available on August 31st but a price wasn't given. The second is a larger scenario - four chapters long! - and it centers around Fuuka and Desco. Available on October 27th, the download will cost 2000 yen ($24.68 US), or 4179 yen ($51.57 US) if you'd rather own it on an append disc. There's a catch though: The append disc is pre-order only, but you do get a Desco figure with the disc. Lastly, Disgaea 4 itself will also come packaged with this append disc for a total of 6090 yen ($75.16 US).

Disgaea 4 also releases in North America this September.
