Nora And The Time Studio Battle System And New Screens
Items, items, items.

In Atlus' DS RPG Nora and the Time Studio: The Witch of the Misty Forest, the titular character (Nora that is, not the witch) can create and alter items by way of time manipulation. Of course, to get items, Nora has to go out into the world and fight monsters - not unlike her counterparts in Gust's Atelier games - so that she can collect such items.

You can bring three people into the turn-based battles with you in the game, and the battlefield is made up of a 3x3 grid. Like many games with such a setup, your party's formation is going to be important since it affects your attack range and power. Much like the Atelier heroines, Nora typically uses items to attack her foes - and she can even create items mid-battle. The other characters you bring into battle will have different abilities, including support ones and stealing items from enemies.

Interestingly enough, you don't get a game over after your entire party loses HP in battle. Rather, the game skips ahead a day and your characters will find themselves resting up at home.

We've also added a bunch of new screenshots and art of a couple of new characters in our gallery below. Nora and the Time Studio: The Witch of the Misty Forest releases in Japan on July 21st.
