Dengeki PlayStation magazine recently revealed that upcoming Tales of Xillia on PS3 will be sporting more anime cutscenes than are usually present in Tales games. It's also known that the development team are aiming for a different visual approach compared to the anime style of Tales of Vesperia's anime or the watercolor style seen in Tales of Graces'. You can get a bit of a feel for it from our gallery.

The same article details that the vast majority of the game will be voiced too. Specifically it mentions that all chat scenes will be fully voiced. This means we're likely to see an even greater proportion of voice acting than seen in the other recent titles.

Famitsu today also gave us another look at the Link Artes. Once the link gauge fills, you can release these powerful combos. We've seen some of these before, but there's a new one for Jude and Rowen too: Splash Line.

Tales of Xillia is currently scheduled for a 2011 release in Japan, but there is no news yet for a North America or European release. Stay tuned to RPGFan for any further updates!
