Hero 30 Second Really Gets JP Date, Half-Minute Hero Goes XBLA
Lots of news for Marvelous' franchise as of late. 05.25.11 - 11:39 PM Hero 30 Second has been delayed time and time again in Japan, by much more than 30 seconds each time. But will the new date for Marvelous' PlayStation Portable follow-up to Half-Minute Hero stick? We hope so, because fans of the first title would love to see this one eventually make it out West, too. Hero 30 Second boasts a new edit mode, a survival mode called 'Infinite Hero,' and can support up to four players on ad-hoc. The new Japanese date is August 4th, and can be purchased at retail for 4980 yen, or via download for 3980 yen. In other Half-Minute Hero news, the first title will soon be seen again - this time, on Xbox Live Arcade. Revealed in this week's Famitsu to be titled Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax, this version has the option between a retro, pixellated look and a 'Neo Cartoon' design; as well, players will find 62 new quests and an online multiplayer mode. Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax is set to hit Xbox Live in Japan on June 29th for 800 Microsoft points ($10). The title was actually leaked earlier, by an Australian ratings board, so it's very likely we'll see the title in other regions as well.
