Here's 20 Minutes Of FF Type-0 Gameplay Footage
Yes, really.
05.22.11 - 12:15 AM

At a Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy event today, director Hajime Tabata demoed the long-awaited Final Fantasy Type-0 (formerly Final Fantasy Agito XIII) for the PlayStation Portable. And it got on video - twenty minutes' worth of gameplay footage, that is.

Tabata spent much of the demonstration controlling Rem, one of the game's fourteen playable characters. Throughout the lengthy footage, Tabata goes over the basics, gets into a battle, rides Chocobos, talks about multiplayer mode and some missions that involve multiplayer, controls an airship, all while running around. If you enable multiplayer, other players can join you on certain mission. The game even has shooting sequences!

Apparently your character dies after summoning. (This doesn't seem to be a big deal since you do have fourteen of them, after all.) You have a limited time to use the summon monster. The summon in the above video is Golem.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is to be out in Japan sometime this summer (last we heard).
