The Combat And Jobs Of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
Steal, focuse, exorcise - you choose!

While we wait patiently for the PlayStation Network to be restored, XSEED Games has been keeping us up to date on its upcoming downloadable PS3 title, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. You've already heard details about the dungeon crawler's races and characters, but what about the classes?

Choose your character's class carefully depending on the type of gameplay you're in the mood for. For example, fighters are best for melee combat, as their Trick Attack ability has them concentrate for one turn, then deliver a flurry of random attacks on their next turn. The priest offers support such as healing, and can also kill the undead with his or her Exorcism ability. Both priests and mages have ranged mystic attacks, and like fighters, mages can focus for one turn before unleashing some strong magic on their next turn. The thief class can deal with locks and hidden doors as well as identify - and get around - traps throughout the dungeon. Their backstab ability let them attack and steal gold from an enemy all at once.

As you level up, you can evolve your class into a more powerful one with newer skills and abilities.

We've made some minor additions to the gallery below. Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls for the PlayStation 3 will be available sometime this spring on the PlayStation Network - depending on the network's status, of course.
