Three New Fallout: New Vegas DLCs Announced
Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road to see release.
05.03.11 - 10:32 AM

Over the course of the next three months, Bethesda and Obsidian will be releasing three downloadable add-ons for Fallout: New Vegas: Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. All of these packs will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC simultaneously. As well, all three packs will be released at a standard price point of 800 MSP/$9.99; PC users will be able to purchase them from Steam and Direct2Drive.

The first pack, Honest Hearts, will be available on May 17 and will take players into Zion National Park in Utah. Your caravan is attacked by raiders and you must find your way back to the Mojave Desert, but along the way you'll be entered into a tribal war as well as a battle between a New Canaanite mission and something known only as the Burning Man. I'm guessing it's not going to be quite like the Burning Man festival...

Old World Blues will see release sometime in June and will cover the history of the mutated creatures found across the Mojave. The main character finds himself an unwitting test subject in an experiment. To fight your captors, you'll have to explore the confines of the Big Empty, a pre-war site originally slated to be in Black Isle's Van Buren and mentioned in the first DLC pack, Dead Money.

The last announced pack, Lonesome Road, is slated for July. The original Courier Six, Ulysses, who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip, returns to contact The Courier. Ulysses will explain everything behind what happened, but only if you're willing to explore The Divide, a hellish landscape torn apart by earthquakes and storms. Few have entered and none have survived.

Keep your eyes peeled to RPGFan for more information on these DLC packs as they become available.
