Threads of Fate on PSN This Week
Play as Mint, Rue or both in this now-classic action RPG. 04.17.11 - 11:37 PM Back in December we learned that four fan-favorite Squeenix PSone titles were making their way to the North American PlayStation Network: Threads of Fate, Vagrant Story, Xenogears and Legend of Mana. With three of those titles already available, now it's time for Threads of Fate, which hits... this week! Threads of Fate gives you the choice of playing through two intertwining plotlines - either as Rue, with his shape-shifting abilities, or magic-mixing-and-casting Mint. Both characters are searching for an ancient relic, but each for their own reasons. An action RPG that's drawn many comparisons to Square Enix's own Brave Fencer Musashi, the game was easy to overlook in the summer of 2000, hitting right before Chrono Cross. If you're the among those that missed out, now's your chance to try the game out, for a mere $5.99. Speaking of Chrono Cross, that game is still scheduled to hit the PSN in Japan in the (hopefully) near future.
