A retailer leaks some details. Spoiler: It's more than a dungeon crawler.
04.08.11 - 4:17 PM

Class of Heroes is a first-person dungeon crawling series from Acquire where players can create their own characters and choose from 15 different classes in the process. Atlus USA brought the first game to North American PlayStation Portables back in 2009.

Class of Heroes 3D, of course, is headed to the Nintendo 3DS this summer. Online Japanese retailers have not only leaked its exact date, but some extra features - besides dungeon crawling. Every character will also get a 'support' pet who can help you out in battle by giving you bonuses like stat increases. What bonuses they'll give depends on the kinds of food you give your pet throughout the game.

Th game has StreetPass support which allows you to check the status of other Class of Heroes 3D players that you meet. Their characters will appear in your game as well. The game also has a system which allows you to use the analogue stick to look around a dungeon for new hidden items, which are randomly distributed upon your revisit to a dungeon.

Class of Heroes 3D is listed for a July 7th release in Japan for 5880 yen ($68.92 US).
