Level-5's plastic model RPG hits Japanese PSPs in May.

The Little Battlers is an upcoming PlayStation Portable RPG from Level-5, who always seems full of unique ideas. This one in particular involves crafting your own plastic models to bring into 3D battle with you - and the game even comes with an actual plastic model kit for LBX AX-00 - a prototype for Achilles, the main character Ban's LBX. The game, which takes place in 2050, is said to have over 2500 parts to collect and choose from, so you can change both your LBX's appearance and various attacks. Multiplayer modes include both competitive and co-op play.

Level-5 will also be releasing The Little Battlers anime, manga, and plastic models from Bandai. The Little Battlers will be released in Japan on May 26th for 5980 yen ($71.14 US).
