Xenoblade Being Localized, Coming to Europe
Will North America be next? 03.31.11 - 11:58 AM Announced way back at E3 2009 under the name Monado: Beginning of the World, the Wii-exclusive Xenoblade has been one of the most desired RPG localizations (next to The Last Story) for awhile now, but Nintendo of America has been silent on the matter. Today we have excellent news for European RPG fans, as Siliconera brings us the news that Nintendo of Europe is bringing the title out in that territory under the name Xenoblade Chronicles, and have opened a teaser site with a trailer as well. While there's no word on a specific release date yet besides '2011', this is still great news for European players, who have so commonly missed out on big titles (though many of us are still jealous that you guys got Terranigma). Xenoblade Chronicles will feature English and Japanese voice-overs and will be fully subtitled in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. For those of us in North America, hopefully we'll benefit from this localization as well in the future. Whether this hypothetical announcement comes next week or at E3 in June, we'll be sure to let you know. And at that point we can go back to bugging Nintendo about bringing over The Last Story.
