Persona 2: Innocent Sin Quest Information
You can make your own!
03.25.11 - 8:49 PM

This is almost as good as a Choose Your Own Adventure book, Persona 2: Innocent Sin features a mode where you can create your own quests. Once you unlock this mode, you can build your own quests, and the amount of customization is you more than you would think.

Let's start with your location choices, which are Karukozaka High School or St. Hermelin High School. Even though there are only two options, you have the ability to select a number of different locations within these schools. Then you can pick the characters you want involved in the quest; the quest can contain up to ten NPCs on each map. You also get to write the script, in this case, select dialogue and decide on characters' actions. Also, you can use generic characters or just focus on characters from Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Famitsu is even getting in on the action and creating their own Famitsu quest for fans to download off the PSN. It's still not clear whether or not you'll be able to share the quests you create with others over the PSN, but it sounds like it's a possibility.

That's not all the information we have on quests, though. Persona 2: Innocent Sin has a Climax Theater mode, which contains preset quests, in addition to the ones you create. One of the preset quests is called the "Persona Thief" quest. The backdrop for this quest is Shin Megamitensei if's Karukozaka High School. In a dream you are commanded to unlock the secrets behind the "Heart's Rest." The connotation behind "rest" is its musical definition - a pause. Quests in the Climax Theater mode also contain special demons, some are even from Shin Megamitensei if's. The only confirmation we have is that these preset quests will be downloadable over PSN.
