And some new gameplay features. 03.24.11 - 9:08 PM Well, you knew this was coming, first we show you the opening video, then we entice you with news of a demo! For those of you who don't know Gungir is a strategy RPG from Sting and Atlus. The team is not only adding gameplay in the vein of Knights in the Nightmare, but also promising some new innovative features for the tactical RPG fan to adore. But if you're still unsure if this game is for you, a PSN demo will be available on April 14th in Japan. In addition to the demo, Famitsu recently confirmed some new gameplay features. You'll be able to see the turn order at the bottom of the screen to better suit your strategy. If you don't like the turn order, you can also shake things up by selecting "scramble," which not only changes the turn order, but also disrupts the opposition's chain of attacks. Also, if you successfully take over enemy territory, a meter at will grow. The more you fill it up, the better attack bonuses you gain. Gungir even offers a "boost" option to increase attack power for up to four characters in close proximity along with a "beat" option that allows for successive attacks. Gungir, a PSP title, is set to hit shelves on May 19th in Japan.
