The downside: It's just got six of the fourteen songs.
02.24.11 - 12:14 AM

If you've already thrown your $10US at Sony and grabbed Xenogears off the PlayStation Network, you're probably getting a nice reminder as you play of just how great Yasunori Mitsuda's soundtrack is. And it's no coincidence that Myth: The Xenogears Orchestral Album is being released in Japan tomorrow - in case you forgot.

And speaking of Myth, it'll be available on vinyl too.

The 12 inch vinyl record will have just six of the CD's fourteen tracks, three on each side. The tracks for the record are as follows:

Side A
1) Dark Dawn -Orchestral Version-
2) Soaring the Skies -Orchestral Version-
3) The Treasure Which Cannot Be Stolen -Orchestral Version-

Side B
1) Bonds of Sea and Flames -Orchestral Version-
2) The Beginning and the End -Orchestral Version-
3) Small Two of Pieces -Orchestral Version-

The vinyl record will be on sale for 2800 yen ($34.09 US), while the full CD will run you 3000 yen ($36.52 US). Both go on sale tomorrow in Japan.
