Persona 2: Innocent Sin PSP Gallery Update
Lots and lots of battle screens - because I know the wait is killing you. 01.29.11 - 10:37 PM The recent delay of Persona 2: Innocent Sin in Japan by over a month might have actually come as a relief for those of us who planned to import, with all the domestic titles making their way over in February and March already. At the same time it probably made others antsy - especially while we all wait for a domestic announcement. In any case, we have some 41 new screenshots and the Japanese packaging to tide you over just a little while longer. Here you'll get a good look at the battle system, including the union system which lets characters combine for more powerful attacks such as summoning a stronger Persona. This system can use anywhere between two and five characters, and this is when you see those cut-in animations (there are several in the gallery) that are new to the PSP version. In the top left corner of some screens you see a meters with four possible colours on it. The colour changes depending on the mood or emotions of the demon you're conversing with, which could help your negotiations with it, not unlike the one in the PSP remake of Persona. As well, even those who have only played Persona 3 and/or 4 will find a familiar face in the screens: Igor from the Velvet Room and his ridiculously long nose. Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PSP will be released on April 14th in Japan.
