3 soundtracks, each 3 discs. 3x3 = 9. Not to be confuxed with 3x3 Eyes.

Among these three soundtracks, which is the best? That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Perhaps the most surprising release of the three is Basiscape's publishing of the Opoona soundtrack. This Wii-only RPG from years prior featured some really excellent music, but there was no planned release for years. It became one of the most highly-demanded soundtracks from fans, and eventually, Hitoshi Sakimoto's label pleased fans by announcing this soundtrack would come out before the end of 2010. It took us a solid month to fully absorb this soundtrack, but now that it's stuck in our heads, we can write about it.
Same goes for The Legend of Heroes Zero no Kiseki. Despite the name (which makes it sound like a prequel), this is actually a continuation of the Sora no Kiseki (LoH VI) trilogy. Though it's a strong soundtrack, it seems that some of its best tracks come as arrangements from previous titles in the series.
This same critique can be leveled against our third and final review of the day: The 3rd Birthday. Stephen Meyerink has the review of this soundtrack. If you're looking for good, original music, seek out the tracks written by Mitsuto Suzuki. Well, that's my opinion. Stephen's opinion can be found in the review.
