SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked Confirmed for US Release
And it's coming sooner than you might think! 01.19.11 - 2:47 PM A lot of exciting information came out of Nintendo's 3DS event today. Nintendo of America confirmed the console will carry a retail price of $249.99 US when it is released on March 27th, has a slew of new features, and did we mention it's got glasses-free 3D? But perhaps more interesting for the RPG fans in the crowd was the quiet confirmation of a North American release for Atlus's Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked. The game, a 3D-enhanced remake of 2009's DS title SMT: Devil Survivor, was previously announced in Famitsu and features an extra "8th Day" scenario, new maps, difficulty levels, 20 new summonable demons, and full voice acting, all in glorious 3D. No information on a US release was available until Nintendo's 3DS event where the title showed up on a list of "Launch Window" games, confirming the game's US release for some time between the 3DS launch (March 27th) and the start of E3 (June 7th). Keep your eyes on RPGFan.com in the coming weeks and months for more information on SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked. In the meantime, why not check out our review of the original Devil Survivor?
