Arx Fatalis Gets Patched; Source Code Available
Do you even remember 2002? Me neither.

Back in 2002, Arx Fatalis, a first-person open-ended RPG for the PC was released, and RPGFan gave it a rather positive review. This week, Arkane Studios has decided to celebrate the eight years since the release of their debut effort by releasing a new patch for the game. The patch not only fixes stability on Windows 7 / Windows Vista machines, but it also cleans up issues on certain GPUs and boosts the game up to version 1.21.

Not only is the patch available now, but Arkane Studios has also made the source code available for those who are programming-inclined. Not too shabby for a game that was released nearly 100 months ago! Arx Fatalis is currently available on Steam, GOG.com, and Direct2Drive. The patch / source code can be found at the Arkane Studios site, which is linked below. If you're looking to scratch your PC first-person RPG itch, check it out!
