Ace Attorney Investigations 2 Gallery Update & Chapter 3 Details
You can also grab a real demo from the Japanese Wii channels. 01.14.11 - 11:47 PM While many fans likely have Phoenix Wright vs. Ace Attorney on the brain, Capcom's next Ace Attorney title is just a couple of weeks away in Japan. Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Miles Edgeworth's official website has been detailing one chapter at a time, and some info and media (including video clips) from the third chapter recently went up. This third chapter takes place 18 years in the past and actually has you play as Gregory Edgeworth, whose demise was the main focus of the first Phoenix Wright title. The lead of the Edgeworth law office, he of course was Miles Edgeworth's father and taught Tateyuki Shigaraki, a part-timer at the firm, about being a lawyer. Shigaraki was a hard worker, a big dreamer and hoped to become a lawyer like Gregory. (You will actually first meet Shigaraki in the second chapter, and he's quite different from his more nervous younger self.) Issei Tenkai is considered the world's best chef at the time - he has his own TV cooking show called 'Dansweets' where he sings and dances - usually when he suddenly feels like it - as he cooks. Tsukasa Oyashiki is Tenkai's assistant and also takes care of his manor. Like Tenkai, she also sings and dances - although when she dances, she becomes oblivious to everything around her. The chapter will give the player some insight into his past. Here, Gregory, assisted by Shigaraki, is investigating criminal charges against Tenkai, whom he believes to be innocent. Here gameplay will work the same way, including the logic chess system. For a bunch of new screens and artwork, check out our gallery below. There is also a demo available for the DS (though as usual, on the Japanese network) through your Wii, on the Everyone's Nintendo channel. Ace Attorney Investigations 2 for the Nintendo DS will be available on February 3rd.
