Venus & Braves PSP Gallery Update
And the producer talks about wanting to make a sequel.
01.14.11 - 10:01 PM

The PlayStation Portable version of Venus & Braves is less than a week away in Japan, so this may be possibly the last (Japanese) media update to our already large gallery. Venus & Braves is the sequel to Seven, which were both PlayStation 2 titles that never saw the light of day in North America. However, in an interview with Dengeki, producer Kentaro Kawajima says he would like to make a(nother) sequel if the PSP version sells well. He says he wishes he had been able to make characters such as NPCs more 'truly alive' - but would like to do so in a more network-based series installment. Venus & Braves actually follows an immortal main protagonist who outlives all his comrades.

As promised, we have 35 new pieces of media in the gallery below, mostly of Tales cameos, each with a background story as to how they wound up in the game. So far we have Suzu from Tales of Phantasia, Lloyd Irving, Presea Combatir and Genis Sage from Tales of Symphonia, Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss, and Rita and Raven from Tales of Vesperia.

Venus & Braves is out on January 20th for 5229 yen ($63.10 US).
