The SNES never had it so good.

Look, we all know people complain about excessive ports, but then everyone goes and buys them anyway. Square Enix knows this, and that's why Final Fantasy I & II are available on pretty much every platform you've ever heard of (and some you probably haven't). The thing is, while certain games are terrible and should be forgotten by all of us for the sake of mankind, I will buy any version of Final Fantasy IV that Square Enix puts out. FFIV: The Complete Collection may be another port, but with redone graphics, it's the most gorgeous (2D or 3D) version of the game yet. Oh, and you get a complete The After Years in the same package. Sold!

We've added a bunch of new screen shots and a small look at the game's Japanese packaging. No word on an English release yet, but it's certainly just a matter of time. Gamers in Japan can pick up one of three editions of the game in varying levels of price and goodies on March 24th.
