Final Fantasy V Heads to Virtual Console

If you've somehow still not managed to play Final Fantasy V through its various releases... well, odds are you're not interested. But if you ARE interested and just looking to avoid high prices on the PSone's Final Fantasy Anthology or eye strains from playing the Game Boy Advance version, good news: Final Fantasy V is releasing on the Wii's Virtual Console in January in Japan for 800 Wii Points ($8 USD).

No word on a North American release on this one yet, as Nintendo of America is typically more tight-lipped about upcoming VC releases until they actually, well, release.
