You've probably figured out by now that we just can't go very long without adding some new Nippon Ichi media. Yes, we have even more Disgaea 4 screens - 56 screens and 5 new pieces of art. Just think, the game's still a couple of months away, so you haven't seen the whole of it yet... Anyway, what you'll find is some interesting examples of what to do with the map editor. I wonder if they have π in the text options. (Hmmm... this is just begging for a map contest, isn't it?) As we mentioned, you can make these maps and share them online so other players can rate them. You can also set your own winning conditions on your map, set enemy AI, personalize the character text and even the stage clear screen.
You'll also find screens and art of the new classes which we mentioned: android and battle suit. There are also screens of even more cameos, who will show up when you cast Omega-level spells: Bikkuriman Meito Anizawa from Anime Tencho, Spice and Wolf's Holo, and Index from A Certain Magical Index. Lastly, one of the pieces of artwork is a take on the Disgaea 4 cast by Etrian Odyssey III's artist, Yuji Himukai.
Nippon Ichi also introduced a new weapon: the 'User Slayer' sword will increase in strength each time you defeat another player. Disgaea 4 for the PlayStation 3 will be out in February in Japan and in the summer in North America.
