Disgaea 4: Maps, Pre-Order Bonuses and Prinnies
These are the bonuses that never end.
12.09.10 - 11:47 PM

Nippon Ichi's Disgaea 4 is loaded with limited edition and pre-order bonuses for its Japanese release, and it's a wonder anyone can keep them straight. There seems to be some variations of the limited edition, including one being offered by Dengekiya, Dengeki's online store. While the standard limited edition packs a soundtrack CD, artbook, Flonne download code and two trading cards, and Dengekiya will throw in a Prinny IC card design jacket as well. This edition will run 11,025 yen ($131.71 US).

More adorable though, and still a part of the first-print limited edition is the Puchi Fuka Nendoroid figure. This figure was announced a while ago, but now you can get a better look. Isn't she cute?

Other retailer-specific bonuses include telephone cards with varying designs depending on the store, and a B2 tapestry from WonderGoo.

Dengeki also talked a little bit more about the map-making feature. The maps you create will be another online feature, along with attacking - or helping other players via pirate ship. You can fight on these maps and share the maps with other players, who will get to rate them. Also in online mode, you can make your characters senators, and attack other players while they are in a Congress session. Dengeki also introduced two new jobs: android, and battle suit.

The limited edition by itself costs 9975 yen ($119.17 US) while the regular edition will be 7140 yen ($85.30 US). Disgaea 4 and its many editions will be available in Japan on February 24th, 2011.
