New Shining Hearts Screenshots Added
See what all that heart power does. You can..... bake?
11.24.10 - 9:29 PM

We've got some more media for SEGA's rather cute PlayStation Portable RPG, Shining Hearts, and it still looks cute (for the most part). You'll notice that nearly every screen has four hearts in the bottom corner, each representing a different 'heart energy': red for joy, yellow for anger, blue for sad and green for comfort. You can earn this energy from doing quests and talking to NPCs in town, and as you might have guessed, you can use this heart energy in different ways - like baking bread which can be given to residents or consumed in battle. Don't bake too much bread though, or you'll be limited in your conversation choices.

These screens also show some more characters, including the dwarf Hank, and the seawolf Dylan, among others. Like lots of pirates. And pirate ships. This gallery is an interesting mix. Shining Hearts will be out on December 16th in Japan, but hasn't been announced for North America yet.
