We haven't exactly had much in the way of English media for Pokémon Black & White yet, so we pretty much have to rely on its official website for any info for the time being. And if you remember some of the many Japanese names that we went over earlier this summer, you'll notice some - so far - have changed.
Isshu, the area below which might remind you of New York (and for good reason - it was the inspiration) is now called Unova. The three little starter Pokémon are now named (below, left to right) Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. (Is it me, or does that last name sound like a mishmash of Oshawa and Ottawa? But I digress.) On the other hand, the legendary Pokémon are just legendary enough to keep their original names from the Japanese version: Reshiram, a Dragon-Fire Vast White; and Zekrom, a Deep Black Dragon-Electric Pokémon.
Pokémon: Black & White for the Nintendo DS is still listed as a Q1 2011 release in North America.
