I think Idea Factory is trying to take over the world.

We found out a few weeks ago that NIS America is bringing Hyperdimension Neptunia to North America. Now it looks like Idea Factory's PlayStation 3 RPG is making its way over to Europe as well, this time courtesy of Tecmo Koei. The purple-haired heroine Neptune must rescue Histoire, in a world named Gameindustri where game consoles are 'personified as goddesses.'
Even more interesting is that the European version has a release date already. It will be available in the SCEE territories on March 4th, 2011 for £49.99, while the US and Canada just have a spring 2011 date so far.
Meanwhile in Japan, Compile Heart has been adding new download content for the game such as the upcoming 5pb (with the very original name 5pb-chan) and Red Entertainment (Red-chan) -themed characters. They'll get their own scenarios as well. No word yet on whether these kinds of extras will make their way over to North America and Europe with the game, but we'll keep you posted!
