Mass Effect 2 PS3 Detailed
It'll be worth the yearlong wait, I promise.

After rumors and speculation over what the upcoming PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 may or may not include, including a supposed new 6-hour long DLC, BioWare's Jesse Houston cleared much of it up by citing 'translation errors' as the source of misinformation. He did say - like many had expected - that the PS3 version would include the three existing story DLC: Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Overlord. The 'interactive comic' at the beginning of the game was also confirmed, and Houston explained that this will be a joint venture with Dark Horse Comics so that PS3 owners, deprived of the original Mass Effect, would still get to experience its story as well as make choices that would affect the outcome and storylines in ME2.

The PS3 version will also include the Blood Dragon Armor, which was made available to those who bought retail copies of Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age: Origins. And from what it sounds like, it will also get some DLC content which was offered as a pre-order bonus for XBox 360 and PC owners but is no longer available, such as the Dr. Pepper promo items.

As far as other exclusivity is concerned, Houston went on to say they wanted all platform owners to get the same Mass Effect 2 experience and they don't wish to cause any sort of divide between its fans. Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 is due out in January, and the total contents for this version have yet to be finalized.
