Level 5 Working on PS3, Wii Titles
Two previously unannounced projects in the works.

At an event for prospective employees in Tokyo, Level 5 president Akihiro Hino revealed that his company was working on two previously unannounced projects for PlayStation 3 and Wii. Whether the Wii-based game is Dragon Quest X remains to be seen. An offical announcement is expected to follow in the near future. While they had concluded that for new titles the hardware of choice was Nintendo's DS, Hino and Co. have no plans to stop developing for home consoles, such as the PlayStation 3.

Despite its successful entry into the publishing business and the resulting impressive corporate growth, Level 5 didn't aim to become the world's No.1 game company in terms of sales, but in terms of quality and brand image. President Hino also stressed the importance of expansion beyond game development and publication. To achieve this goal, he wants to employ a strategy that was once dubbed "polymorphic content" by Square Enix and "media mix" by Koei - namely movie, anime and manga adaptations of Level 5's line-up of games.
