Pokémon: Do You Want Mew Or Music?
Or c) all of the above? 10.15.10 - 3:19 AM Remember when you bought Pokémon some ten years ago, and it was a pain to find - and catch - Mew, the once-secret Pokémon? I don't, but I do remember it being a pain to find one in the Pokéballs in Super Smash Bros. Melee. But I digress. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Pokémon Gold & Silver, Nintendo is giving Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver owners a chance to have Mew starting today (Friday, October 15th) until October 30th. And yes - it does apply to North America too. To download your level 5 Mew, you will need either HeartGold or SoulSilver, of course, less than three Wonder Cards, a Pokédex, and wireless access via your Nintendo DS. Mew will then show up in a Cherish Ball with a Premier ribbon on it. If that isn't enough for you, and/or you need something else to tide you over until Pokémon Black & White next spring, the series' newest two installments have a soundtrack coming soon and it's 4 discs long. Titled Nintendo DS Pokemon Black White Super Music Collection, the set will be out later this month in Japan for 2625 yen ($32.32 US). After all, isn't it time to get some Pokémon music stuck in your head that isn't a) Lavender Town or b) the first English vocal theme from the anime?
