Japanese developers talk upcoming projects.

Like every year, the Japanese press has asked the country's leading game developers about what they have in store for the new year.
Nintendo's Eiji Aonuma mentioned that he wanted to have a playable version of the new Wii-based Zelda title ready for Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June. He couldn't or wouldn't say whether the game would be released this year, though.
Meanwhile, Square Enix is promising exciting Dragon Quest-related news to come forth in the summer. Apart from new additions to its flagship series, the company was also working on several other projects. Five games have yet to be announced. Out of those five, two will most likely be released in Japan during the current calendar year.
While admitting that Super Robot Taisen Gakuen and Super Robot Taisen NEO had not appealed enough to the series' core fanbase, Super Robot Taisen mastermind Takanobu Terada stated his team would reveal a new game, once it has become warmer.
Image Epoch's Kazuya Niinou (Etrian Odyssey, 7th Dragon) expressed interest in creating a sequel to his critically acclaimed DS RPG 7th Dragon and an untitled "JRPG". Niinou's latest project however won't hit retail store shelves until next year.
Level 5 president Akihiro Hino was confident that his development studio will be able to surprise the gaming public with a special announcement at a company event later this year.
Last but not least, Hiroshi Matsuyama, president of .hack developers CyberConnect2 revealed that his team was working on an entirely new game.
