In case you're done with Phantasy Star Portable 2 already...
09.16.10 - 10:36 PM

The first big RPG announcement to come out of this year's Tokyo Game Show is an unepected revival of an early online RPG - SEGA's Phantasy Star Online. The freshly-revealed Phantasy Star Online 2 is slated for the PC sometime in 2011, just in time for the series' tenth anniversary. The original Phantasy Star Online was released for the Dreamcast in 2001 before expanding to the GameCube and Xbox for four episodes in total. Afterwards, its addictive hack, slash and loot-style gameplay continued to live on in Phantasy Star Universe, Phantasy Star Zero and most recently, Phantasy Star Portable and its sequel.

Unfortunately, not much was revealed in the TGS trailer, which you can watch below, other than the 2011 date. Plans to release the game on consoles were not yet announced.
