Mass Effect 2 Announced for PlayStation 3
...but not the original title. How odd. 08.17.10 - 11:30 AM Before the release of Mass Effect 2, I had a chance to visit BioWare's Edmonton studios and interview Casey Hudson, the producer of the game. In said interview, when I asked him about multiplatform support for the title, he stated, "Mass Effect 2 is just on Xbox 360 and PC. People find that to be a surprising answer. We have exclusivity with Microsoft." That answer has now changed. Slated for release in January of 2011, one year after the release of its PC and Xbox 360 brothers, the title will feature bonus content, although it is not noted whether this is the already-available DLC from the other versions of the title. Fans should check out the Mass Effect official website for the announcement trailer. There is no word yet on whether or not the original title will see PlayStation 3 release.
