In a press release today, Bethesda announced the voice actors that will be featured in Fallout: New Vegas and there's a lot to be excited about!

First off, Golden Globe winner and two-time Emmy nominated actor Ron Perlman ("Hellboy", "Sons of Anarchy") will return as the voice of the narrator, a role he has taken on in every major Fallout game to date. To add icing on the cake, Golden Globe nominated actor Matthew Perry ("Friends") will play Benny, a silver-tongued, shady, double dealing gangster, and Wayne Newton will take on the role as "Mr. New Vegas," and his voice will soothe the airways as the radio DJ for the Mojave Wasteland.

Also, three celebrities portray characters that are playable companions in Fallout: New Vegas. Danny Trejo ("Machete", "From Dusk Till Dawn"), is Paul the Ghoul, a ghoul who has traded his guns for a wrench and is now a mechanic. While Zach Levi ("Chuck"), is Arcade, a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse, who has a secretive past he is trying to keep under wraps, and Felicia Day ("The Guild"), takes the role of Veronica, a Brotherhood of Steel scribe who's not afraid to talk back.

But, wait - there are even more celebrities taking the stage in Fallout: New Vegas. Prepare yourself for Kris Kristofferson ("Blade Trilogy,"), as Chief Hanlon, a solider who is at the end of his prime and, thus, trying to come to gripes with the end of his career. Rene Auberjonois ("Boston Legal", "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"), portrays the inscrutable and solitary Mr. House. And for fans of Fallout 2's Marcus, the sharp super mutant, he's back along with Michael Dorn ("Star Trek: The Next Generation") voicing him.

Additionally, John Doman ("Mystic River", "The Wire"), will play Caesar, the magnetic and almighty dictator at the head of Caesar's Legion. Also, William Sadler ("Shawshank Redemption"), will lend his voice to Victor, a respectable robot who thinks he's a wrangler straight out of a country western film.

And just when you thought that was it – in addition, to the cast - players should anticipate hearing even more celebrity cameos throughout their grand journey in Fallout: New Vegas. For now, Bethesda is leaving those a surprise.

Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing for Bethesda Softworks commented on this announcement by saying: "The Fallout franchise has taken narratives in interactive entertainment to the next level, and we could not be more excited about the all-new celebrity lineup for Fallout: New Vegas. The voice acting provided by these actors helps drive the compelling and immersive story of Fallout and further adds to the overall gameplay experience."

Fallout: New Vegas will be released in North America on October 19, 2010 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Europe will see an October 22, 2010 release date.
