Square-Enix has launched the official site for Vision of Abyssea, the first of three add-on expansions for Final Fantasy XI scheduled to release this year.
Details are scant, but players can expect new battle-related content designed for characters level 75 and above. The release of this add-on will coincide with the June version update, which will raise the level cap for the first time in over six and a half years. In the update, players will also gain access to the long-awaited Walk of Echoes area, as well as receive new weapon skills, job adjustments, equipment, and more.
Vision of Abyssea will be available for advance purchase in early June for $9.99.
