At an event in Tokyo, Level 5 revealed new bits of information regarding its recently announced DS title Inazuma 3 Sekai he no Chousen (Challenge to the World). The third installment in the popular franchise of RPG-meets-soccer hybrids will feature more than 2,000 characters and more than 300 techniques. Both figures are new records. Characters, techniques and some parts of the story will differ depending on whether the user has decided to pick up the game's Spark or Bomber version. The former will allow the player to take on the Angelic Apostles, while the latter will feature a team called Hell's Army Z.

Level 5 also revealed that it has teamed up with former soccer star Hidetoshi Tanaka and his foundation 11 for Africa. Under the agreement, Level 5 will donate 11 yen ($0.12 USD) to UNICEF for every copy of the game sold in Japan.

Inazuma 3 Sekai he no Chousen Spark and Bomber will go on sale in Japan on July 1st. Each version will cost 4,980 yen ($53.81 US).
