Chance Thomas is one hip cat. Having composed music for film, television, and video games over the last two decades, he has plenty of experience under his belt. Today, RPGFan reviews his entire RPG-related discography in one fell swoop.

First, there's the soundtrack for Quest For Glory V. This score is what launched Chance's game-related career, and Sierra was smart to pick him up after all he had done for film and television. His expertise at live recordings, use of vocal/choral groups, and strong sense of style in composition allowed him to create some of the best VGM of its time. To this day, people still talk about this game's wonderful soundtrack. I am one of those people, and I have said all I can think to say about this soundtrack in my review.

After this, we have three different soundtrack reviews for The Lord of the Rings Online. One is for Shadows of Angmar, and the other two are promotional albums that came with different packages for the Mines of Moria expansion. Indeed, Chance Thomas has done a lot of work for "licensed" games, but some of his best work to date is inspired by some of the greatest modern novels, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy.
