DQ IX Becomes Best Selling Dragon Quest Game to Date

Final Fantasy XIII took only four days to sell more than 1.5 million copies, and now Dragon Quest IX has become the best selling Dragon Quest title to date. The company today reported that it has shipped 4.15 million copies of the DS-based RPG, which was released in Japan back in July. The title of the most successful Dragon Quest game used to belong to Dragon Quest VII, which boasts lifetime sales of 4.1 million copies.
