It's more sim than Iris, is that good or bad?

Editor Neal Chandran had a chance to take down Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island for the Nintendo DS this month. Is it good? Is it bad? All I know is that it's more sim-like than previous Atelier games. Check out what Neal thought of it below!
