Special Soundtracks Update! Retro Remix Revue Vol. 2
Jazz and rock arrangements of Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and more, from Hollywood studio musicians.
11.04.09 - 10:38 PM

Special Note: Vol. 1 of this series is not, and will never be, covered on RPGFan due to lack of RPGs covered on the disc. Just sayin'.

Now then, Neal Chandran brings us a special soundtrack review today. It's for Vol. 2 of Retro Remix Revue. These albums are recorded in Los Angeles with seasoned veterans from Hollywood film and television music studios as the session performers. The sound engineer and arranger are two spunky dudes with a lot of motivation and even more talent. They take their work seriously, and it shows in this album.

The physical CD release of the album took place just a few days ago, and you can only get the album via special orders from their web site. Check out the review and, perhaps, consider purchasing the album!

(PS - my favorite track on the disc? Hands-down, "Gerudo Valley" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.)
