Koei Veteran to Take Charge of AQ Interactive
Kiyoshi Komatsu re-surfaces at Cavia's parent company.

Former Koei president Kiyoshi Komatsu is set to become the new president of Japanese developer/publisher AQ Interactive. Pending shareholder approval, he will succeed outgoing president Tomoyuki Takechi (who had served as CEO of Square in the past). The move is aimed at further strengthening AQ's group management at a time when the parent company of development studios Cavia (Drakengard), Artoon (Blue Dragon, AWAY) and FeelPlus (Lost Odyssey) is expanding its operations.

The 53-year old Komatsu had worked for Koei for almost two decades before being appointed company president in 2006. Komatsu eventually resigned from his executive position and left his long-time employer in March 2007.
